What a Bathroom Renovation Covers
Shower or Tub
Keeping the tub or switching to a shower decides where the plumbing runs and how much wall gets tiled. Settle it first.
Vanity
Leave room for the door to swing and for someone to walk past. The sink and storage need deciding before the plumbing goes in.
Plumbing and Electrical
Our own plumbing team handles the pipes for the shower, tub, and vanity, and a certified electrician takes care of the electrical work.
Wall and Floor Tile
Pick both on the same visit, with the samples side by side.
A New Bathroom Floor on Its Own
We take up the old floor, check the subfloor, and lay the new one while the tub and vanity stay where they are. The toilet comes off for the work and goes back on afterwards. Compare porcelain and ceramic tile with luxury vinyl or SPC flooring at the showroom.

Planning the work
How a Bathroom Renovation Starts
- Bring a few photos of the bathroom to our showroom at 2025 Dundas Street East, Unit 1, and compare tile samples in person.
- We measure the bathroom and check the existing plumbing and what's under the current floor.
- You get a written quote that lists each part of the job, including the removal of old fixtures and the electrical work. Ask about anything missing before you approve it.
Before the Work Starts
- In a condo, check the building's renovation rules, such as working hours and elevator bookings.
- Decide on in-floor heating early, because the heating mat goes down under the tile.
Porcelain and ceramic tile, luxury vinyl, and SPC are in stock at the showroom, with custom orders available. To compare the floors that cope best with water, read the waterproof flooring options guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you renovate the whole bathroom or only the floor?
Both. Say which you have in mind when you request a quote, because a floor on its own is measured and quoted separately.
What should I bring to the showroom?
Photos of the bathroom, its rough size, and a note of anything you want to keep, such as the tub. That's enough to narrow the tile samples on a first visit.
Which flooring is best for a bathroom?
Porcelain and ceramic tile handle water best. Luxury vinyl and SPC are warmer and softer underfoot, while laminate and solid hardwood are a poor fit where water can pool.
Can a new floor go over the old tile?
Sometimes. Sound, well-bonded tile can take new tile or click vinyl on top if the extra height works at the door. Loose or cracked tile has to come up first.
